A first!

If you know me, you know I LOVE sports! I'm missing NCAAF most. I would love nothing more than to watch the Buckeyes play every week. But alas, that cannot happen here. So, James got us tickets to the opening game of the ICC Champions Trophy South Africa 2009. First game was between South Africa and Sri Lanka. Now, I knew nothing about Cricket when I came over here in March, but James taught me the gist of the game, and now I love it. So yesterday, we made our way to Centurion Field. What a blast!

The game started at 2:30 and I was so excited!

Cricket isn't the fastest sport around. We heard thunder at around 9:30, and decided to leave, even though SA had 16 more overs. After awhile, the kids started getting restless. (If I was that age, I would too after 7 hours!) So Bronwyn has a play phone, along with her purse, and takes it to the front. I was cracking up! She was so funny! Who needs a game when you can talk on a phone?

I love this girl!

Max did a happy dance everytime the Proteas scored a 4 or 6! It was hilarious!

We ended the evening with Candy Floss! Yummah!
Even though the Proteas lost, it was a fun and exciting day! Thanks James and Ella for allowing me to go! I had a blast!
