Goodbye Alaska

My time in Alaska has come to an end. It's been a month already-I still can't believe how fast it went. I wanted to take some pics of this family I LOVE so much, and it happened today in the freezing cold. :)

Alaska, you have refreshed and encouraged my heart. I'll definitely miss the people, the beautiful mountains, the wildlife, LMBC, Ella's Bible Study, Small groups, teaching Science to the kiddos, Willow, and mostly, this family that means so incredibly much to me. Thanks for the gift of love. I've had a blast!

A heavy heart.

It's ending. I have 3 more days here in Alaska. My heart is already hurting just thinking about leaving. I've had teary moments more than I thought I would. I didn't think it was going to be this hard to leave the family I love so much again. And yet I shouldn't be surprised. This last month has been so refreshing and encouraging for me.

There is nothing sweeter than a friendship with Christ at the center.

Crayon Art!

Today was my last day to help out with Hannah's Bible Study. I decided to give crayon art a go with them, and boy did we have fun! It was a great project, and it was neat to see how they each turned out.

We started by choosing our colors and gluing them to the canvas.

From there, it was heating them up.

And these were the finished products. I LOVE how they turned out!
