So a couple from Alaska came a couple days ago, and brought boxes for the Embrees. These included a lot of their books and a couple toys. There were also notes for the kids from a pioneer club, and goodies, including the coveted Chocolate chips and Kraft Mac and cheese...the two things we cannot get here in S. Africa that we all LOVE!!
The Embrees got new flooring this week, so the house was torn apart, and furniture was everywhere, including the piano. I had to practice outside! My hands were frozen when I was done. But I didn't mind at all...I love practicing and learning again!
OK....so I am in the process of getting a visa, and there is so much to do for it. Here are a couple things. Ella has participated too, because they are applying for permanent residency. We had to get chest x-rays, and then go down to the police station to get fingerprinted....how enjoyable!
I'm off to Swaziland tomorrow for a ladies retreat with other missionaries. Unfortunely, Ella can't make it because she goes to Thailand for the week to a conference. I'm excited to meet other TEAM missionaries. I'm also excited to be "homeschool" mom for the week while Ella is away. Enjoy your weekend!

we feel you on the mac n cheese and choc chips- although when they arrive in a box they are always melted together- still we cannot get enough :) American treats rock!!
