Last weekend I spent the weekend in Pietermaritzburg with Claudia, a short-termer here with TEAM until June. We had a lovely time together. The highlight of the weekend was hiking Howick Falls. The weather was perfect--not too hot or cold, and a bit overcast. The sun came out towards the end, but I sure was thankful it was away most of the day. Howick Falls is South Africa's second largest at 310 feet. We saw beautiful plants along the way, and some wildlife, including many spiders and webs!
Gorgeous!

Hello
Out in the middle of the forest
The flowers/pants were beautiful!
Along the trail

We stopped at the Blueberry Café for lunch. It was yummy! It's a blueberry farm, and they have a lot of blueberry treats.
Check out these bathrooms! The sign in the corner says, "Don't worry. Only the cows can see you."
Yummy-ness to end our day!
