I first met Elle in 2008--over the internet of all things! I was going to S. Africa to work with her and her family, and we had 3 weeks of corresponding and learning about each other before we would spend 6 weeks together. It was a rough go at first, but God used it to mold us and bond us in a way I never could have imagined.
We have been through a lot together since then--we've shared the joys, the sorrows, the hardships and trials. I'm so incredibly grateful to the Lord for bringing us together and continuing to grow our friendship--even through the 5,000 miles that seperate us now. And like she said, we are sisters. I too, have always wanted a sister, and Elle is the closest I have had to that--we get into tiffs like any other sisters, but we love each other dearly. She has and continues to be a godly example in my life, and I am so thankful for her passion for Jesus!
I also can't express my love enough about her amazing family!
